“The idea behind TheCraftsman happened very easily. One day the owners got together over drinks and asked themselves, ‘What would be the dream bar to go to if we had the choice?’ They all agreed it would be a laid back neighborhood bar, simple, with good drinks, good food and friendly staff. A place where they could go after work and feel comfortable in a suit and tie, or come right off the beach in flip flops. In short, a place they could go hang out, have fun and be themselves.”
SCOPE: I have been designing collaterals for The Craftsman since the very beginning. I was involved with their 2 image rebrands as they keep their identity fresh and viable. For the past 7 years I have curated many items including but not limited to: their logo and mascots, multiple menus, various marketing materials such as digital signs, printed posters, magazine advertisements and flyers, business cards and an array of shirt designs.
As the years have passed and their identity has evolved it has been quite a journey, and a distinct point of pride for me, to be able to have the fortuitous position of being their sole graphic designer.
