Clowns
I have always had a fascination with clowns. I don’t think they are scary like people with coulrophobia but I am intensely attracted to them, especially the make up designs. I think it is very interesting that a person can literally hide in plain sight in this jovial attire and be deeply disturbed under the powders and wigs. I’m intrigued.

This is a movie poster project I did to hone my skills in producing professional quality design for print. I designed this series before the new versions of “It” came out not knowing that they were even in the process of making a new one. I designed mine based on the Tim Curry version of Pennywise. That opening scene in the first movie when he was in the sewer was probably when I first fell in love with clowns. I always loved villains in movies and man!, was he creepy in that scene. What a delight!
